The best time for Himalayan scenery is from mid-October to December while trekking to Pikey Peak.

The best time to explore the pristine nature is from mid-march to mid-April when rhododendrons and other wildflowers are in seasonal bloom around the trekking trail of Solu and the high hills of Pikey Peak.

For nature and flower lovers as well as for bird watching. The best time to explore Solu and Pikey Peak is when wildflowers are in seasonal bloom. Especially, the rhododendrons of various species and different colors from bright verdant red, light pale red, bluish, white, and pink.

But sometimes, due to the effect of climate change around the world, and in Nepal Himalayas. Get late snowfall during the early or mid-spring time also, but at present, the snowfall can be uncertain and unpredictable. 

But winter times is regarded as the best time for snowfall, and can also get hailstones and rains. During the winter times, when it snows around Pikey Peak and the whole area will be a magical place. Standing amidst white picturesque surroundings, and with a different experience than in other seasons of the year.

During the month of June to September is monsoon so not a good time to trek, or hike along the pikey peak Trek.

The monsoon, wet months start from the mid-summer seasons to the end of July until August. But the rains with heavy pours, continue till mid-September, these few months of rainy season are not recommendable for trekking In Pikey Peak. 

As the whole areas around mid-hills, and valleys will be soaked with heavy rains of the monsoon. But it is good for flora and fauna, as the whole environment will be lush and green with dense vegetation. Most days will be overcast with heavy clouds and mist with small chances to catch the views of the Himalayas.

Choosing the best time of the season makes the trekking worthwhile around the Himalayas, including treks to Pikey Peak. Pikey Peak is a moderate adventurous walk where altitude gains at a gradual pace. It makes the treks more enjoyable during all seasons, except for the summer and the monsoon times. 

Spring and autumn/fall are considered the best seasons, as well as the winter, despite the cold temperatures.
