FAQs

A trip can be booked as far as one year in advance. We do not make a booking for more than one year, because of the possibility of huge fluctuations in the international exchange rate and Service cost.

We always try to be flexible in designing the trip itinerary for our client’s needs. However, if you are not convinced with our suggested itinerary then of course you are always welcome to customize or change the trip itinerary.

Find the Privacy and Policy section and check the cancellation policy, depending on the time trip duration before the cancellation of the booked trip, a cancellation charge will apply. The trip can be postponed for up to a year after adding a certain overhead cost percentage.

After a Trek and Climbing trip confirmation, we will suggest you take the required gear lists for the trekking and Climbing trip. For reference, please check our Gear List section on the website.

A holiday should never be about making it to the final point quickly. Along your trek and Climbing trip, we can add days at your request with additional costs to cover guides, porters, accommodation, and food.

An average physical fitness should be maintained before booking a trekking and Climbing trip. Any sort of illness or recent medical problems should be mentioned while booking a trip. Most of our itineraries are prepared to give you maximum time to acclimatize and pace-setting on the treks would be done according to your convenience. If you are taking regular medication then tell us before the trip starts which would be better for us to give you the physical feedback.

Our main concern is your safety. We never compromise on your safety during the Trekking or climbing, and all our guides are properly trained and well-equipped to take care of our client's safety in even remote areas as well.

There would be always back support in case of an emergency like severe high-altitude sickness or accident (which is least expected), you will be sent to the nearest hospital, if possible, otherwise rescued by a helicopter and sent to the hospital as soon as possible. Since you are entirely liable for all the expenses incurred for the use of such emergency services, please make sure that your travel insurance covers both- medical and emergency evacuation costs.

In every trekking and Climbing trip, our guide carries a first aid kit with the basic required tools and some medicine for preventing an emergency condition. On the other hand, we always provide satellite phones.

After confirming the trip, you will be required Proper travel insurance including helicopter rescue service. At times of emergency cases like evacuation from high altitude or medical treatment which has to be covered by your insurance. Make sure to consult with your insurance company about the coverage of the insurance that you have bought. Recommended insurance coverage up to the elevation of the Peak you are going to climb meters.

It is not a problem at all because in a mountain most of the tea houses/lodges serve vegetarian food as well and our guide will take care of the time cooking and on a camping trek, our cook and staff will care all about the food section.

Most of the lodges in the mountains are the basic ones like a guest house or tea house style. On a few major towns or settlements, where are the possibilities we provide you with the best accommodation? Also, it depends upon the service packages.

We assure the best quality and give our clients the best experiments. So, during the camping trekking, we use Camping Gear like member tents, dining tents, Kitchen tents, Shower tents, toilet tents, mattresses, etc. on a camping trek, also we provide proper warm jackets, trousers, and shoes for the porters too.

Lately, most of the teahouses have electricity supply even with solar panels. So, charging your gadgets is not a problem at all. But charging your battery you should have to pay an additional fee (US$ 1 to 3 approx. per hour.), to get your gadgets to be charged.

Now a day’s most of the major village has a cell phone network connection. However, in a remote area where cell phones do not work, and even if there is no other communication access then we send satellite phones along with our guide so you can always be in touch with your family.

Most of the hotels are not connected with banks and then don’t use the swap machine so you can’t use the credit card during the trekking in a mountain and we strongly suggest you take cash along with you for the trek expenses.

Well! You may use foreign currency during trekking in the mountain but the exchange rate would be very small, so we recommended you to exchange currency in the city and take enough Nepali currency from where you have started your Trek.

After confirmation of your trip, we manage our field staff giving them full wages for the trip duration so you won’t get refunds. If any case you drop from the trip by illness or any case there will be no refundable.

We provide 2 in-sharing porters for carrying your gear in the Tea House trek (Lodge Trek) and for such a demanding camping trek we use Yak and mules, to carry the loads. Our porter carries 20 to 25 kilograms so we suggest each person ‘s good weight is 10 to 12 Kilograms. You need to carry your day pack with your valuable items.

Yes, either you can store the same hotel as you stayed or we can store your goods with us safely in our office free of cost.

Yes, you can obtain your Nepal Visa upon arrival in Kathmandu Nepal. For more details of Nepal visas please follow the link given. Nepal Visa Information.

The luggage must not exceed up to 15 kilos. A trekking helper (porter) carries baggage of less than 15 kilos. This bag can be received at the end of each day’s trek and you should carry the rest of the weight as a day bag with all your money and valuables inside it.

This is a difficult thing to gauge. We have seen everything from USD 25 to USD 900 per person for guides and porters. Tipping is not required, but a small gesture of thanks to your guides and local porters. The level of the tip should reflect the level of satisfaction from and personal involvement with your guide. However, we recommend you to spend a minimum of 10% of your total trip cost for tipping the entire local staff.
