Walking into enchanting forest of tall rhododendron trees (national flower of Nepal) in spring when flowers in full bloom makes this area a natural garden with riots of colors, as the trek leads through interesting traditional farm villages of Gurung and Magar, high hills tribe of Annapurna region.

Our next adventure leads to rafting on Trisuli River a glacier fed rivers flowing from the source of Ganesh and Langtang Himal enjoy the downstream floats with exciting white-water rapids and bouncy waves.

Concluding this marvelous journey with another thrilling adventure at Chitwan National Park (listed as Asia’s best park) riding on elephant and other various jungle activities on the lookout for rare and elusive Royal Bengal Tiger, one horned rhinoceros with other mammals including hundreds of species exotic bird life.

Day 01: Arrive at Kathmandu 1,300m and transfer to Hotel.
Day 02:  In Kathmandu with sightseeing and trip preparation.
Day 03:  Fly to Pokhara and enjoy afternoon taking shots of Pokhara villages and towns.
Day 04:  Drive from Pokhara to Nayapul and trek to Tirkhedhunga 1,460 m
Day 05:  Trek to Ghorepani 2,840m – 05 hrs
Day 06: Morning hike to Pun-Hill and trek to Tadapani 2,721m – 05 hrs.
Day 07: Trek to Tolka via Landruk 1,530m – 05 hrs.
Day 08: Trek to Kande 1,460m via Potana and drive to Pokhara – 05 hrs.
Day 09:  Drive to Rafting point at Trisuli River and raft to Kurintar overnight in resorts.
Day 10:  Drive to Chitwan Jungle Lodge afternoon jungle activities and safari.
Day 11:  Full day Jungle safari with elephant ride and other nature activities.
Day 12:  Drive back to Kathmandu with afternoon free for individual activities.
Day 13: International departure for home ward bound.

Detail Itinerary

  • Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.

    On arrival in Kathmandu international airport received with warm welcome by our Visit Himalaya guides and staff, and then transfer you to respective hotels around hub of Kathmandu. Here in the hotel our guide brief with information of your wonderful journey to Annapurna Nepal Panorama with Pokhara including hotel, Kathmandu and welcome dinner in a nice typical Nepali restaurant with culture program.

  • Day 02: In Kathmandu with sightseeing and trip preparation.

    Morning sightseeing tour around Kathmandu you will be engrossed at places of interest on this day for 4-5 hours of enjoyable and impressive tour visiting world heritage sites of temples-monasteries-Stupas with old royal palace courtyard. Kathmandu, steeped with ancient heritage sites and monuments of both Hindu and Buddhist, morning after breakfast our tours starts with a short drive to Swayambhunath, a popular and famous pilgrimage sites for Buddhist and Hindu as well. An ancient Chaitiya of Asia and a major symbol of Nepal’s Buddhist heritage, Swayambhunath represents Primordial Buddha or Adi-Buddha. After Swayambhunath tour leads to Bouddhanath, an important Buddhist pilgrimage and heritage sites in Nepal. The story and history mentions that this Stupa contains relics of Buddha Kashyapa, with 176 miniature stupas and paintings of Tibetan Buddhist pantheons cover the walls that surround the Stupa at Bouddhanath. Bouddhanath Stupa is an important pilgrimage site for Tibetans which is mentioned in Tibetan classical texts such as Biography of Yeshe Tshogyal (A.D. 8-9) and Padma Ka’thang (A.D.14). After lunch at Bouddhnath in a nice restaurant a short drive to famous Hindu Temple of Pashupatinath, placed by the bank of Bagamati River where all Hindu cremation takes places. A magnificent golden roofed temples with four cardinal silver doors the temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, in ‘Shiva Ratri’ which falls in mid February a great celebration and pilgrimage takes places flooded with worshippers from Nepal and India. In the end of the day a short drive in the hub of Kathmandu visit Kathmandu old Durbar square with ancient Malla and Shah dynasty palace includes visit of Kumari Temple nearby where Living Goddess “Kumari” resides, tour of famous Khastamandap temple where Kathmandu got its name, as Khastamandap meaning temple built from a wood of a single tree. After a wonderful sightseeing tour afternoon free at leisure and preparation for onward journey to Nepal Annapurna Panorama tours & treks.

  • Day 03: Fly to Pokhara 30 minutes and transfer to hotel near lake side of Phewa.

    Morning, transfer to Kathmandu domestic airport for super scenic flight to Pokhara with breathe-taking views of mountains from the take off to landing at Pokhara. At Pokhara transfer to your hotels by the Phewa Lake with views of high Annapurna Himalaya that reflects on pristine Phewa lakes with time in the afternoon for short walks around lake side.

  • Day 04: Drive to Nayapul 1,100m and trek to Tirkhedhunga 1,460m - 04 hrs.

    After a pleasant in Pokhara, morning two hours’ drive leaving outskirt of Pokhara valley into mid-hills towns and villages with views of Annapurna mountain range including Mt. Machhapuchare “The Fish Tail.” After an interesting drive reaching Nayapul (new bridge). From here our walk begins following the Modi River for short while after nice village Bhirethati where you will encounter trekkers, mules and donkey trains, our trek leads on the Old Trans-Himalayan Salt Trade Route of Nepal / Tibet, walking past farm lands and villages with beautiful cascading waterfalls, and then reaching at Tirkhedhunga village for overnight stop, here enjoy the views and sound of waterfalls.

  • Day 05: Trek to Ghorepani 2,840 m - 05 hours.

    Morning starts with steep climb on stone steps for nearly two hours to the top of Ulleri village with views of Annapurna South and Mt. Machhapuchare, from here walk gets better on winding trail and into cool shade of rain and alpine forest, as the walk progress with few steep climb and coming to cooler area of alpine zone with beautiful rhododendron forest of tall trees. A short climb after Ghorepani village brings you at Ghorepani Deurali which is a small pass at 2,840 m high. Here houses serving as lodge all painted blue with views of Mt. Dhaulagiri range of peaks, the people of this area are of Pun people of Magar tribe. Ghorepani village famous and popular spot for hike to view point at Poon Hill for stunning sunrise views over array of high Himalayan Mountains.

  • Day 06: Morning hike to Poon-Hill and trek to Tadapani 2,630 m - 05 hrs.

    Early morning an hour hike up to Poon-Hill at 3,210 m highest point of this wonderful trip, offering gorgeous sunrise views over Mt. Dhaulagiri, Mt. Manaslu to Annapurna and as far to Ganesh Himal. After a fabulous time at Poon Hill where you will be busy clicking stunning surrounding beautiful and stunning sceneries. Our journey continues after breakfast heading uphill into pristine forest of rhododendron, in spring time this whole area turns into magic and natural garden with riots of colors from blooming wild flowers including rhododendron, the national flower of Nepal. On reaching a hilltop a Deurali descend into a gorge and then a short climb into forest to reach Tadapani a small village with lodges to cater the needs of the trekkers. Tadapani located in the midst of alpine woodland with grand views of Annapurna South-HiuChuli and Mt. Machhapuchare peaks and as far to A II and A IV.

  • Day 07: Trek to Tolka via Landruk 1,530m - 06 hrs.

    Morning with super views of Annapurna peaks heading into forested area with downhill most of the way to reach at large Gurung village in Ghandruk (Ghandrung), here with time visiting Gurung museum continue descend on long stone steps to raging Modi River. From here climb to reach another large village at Landruk (Landrung) with time for short rest to admire the surrounding sceneries. After Landruk walk is pleasant on winding path through farm terraces and small villages with a short steep climb to Tolka village for overnight stop, a nice spread-out village with marvelous views of Annapurna South and Huichuli.

  • Day 08: Trek to Kande via Potana and Australian camp and drive to Pokhara.

    Morning our last day walk of this trip, leads on gradual winding path with few short ups and down passing several nice village of Bheda Kharka, and then climb into lush vegetation area for less than an hour to reach Deurali at 2,150 meters. This high spot offers panorama of beautiful landscapes with views snowcapped peaks, from here downhill to Potana for short stop, then with short last climb to Thulo Kharka also called as Australian Camp, a scenic spot with large green fields of meadows with views of Annapurna and Manaslu range of mountains. From here our last day walk of this trip ends with downhill to Kande village by the main road of Baglung / Beni and Pokhara. An hour drive brings you back at Pokhara with free afternoon for individual activities.

  • Day 09: Drive to Rafting point at Trisuli River and raft to Kurintar overnight in resorts.

    Morning drive leads to another exciting thrill towards Trisuli River, on reaching Rafting put in point meet our river guide who will brief you with safety measures and information on rafting techniques and skill required encountering rough and enjoyable rapids. After instructions board on raft with life-jacket and helmets on, and then paddle through nice bouncy waves and rapids with scenic floats passing interesting riverside farm villages. After a great thrill of rafting ending at a small village of Kurintar for overnight stop by the Trisuli River.

  • Day 10: Drive to Chitwan Jungle Lodge afternoon jungle activities and safari.

    Starting early morning after breakfast for an interesting overland drive to low land of Nepal known as Terai with warm sub-tropic temperatures where deep dense jungles are located. After a scenic driving past many villages and towns reaching at outskirt of Chitwan National Park where all nice hotels-lodge and resorts are placed, at Chitwan using the best hotels or resort for 2 overnight stops, after lunch a short introductory tour or nature walks with dinner accompanied by local Tharu culture dance programs.

  • Day 11: Full day Jungle safari with elephant ride and other nature activities.

    Full day jungle and nature programs starting early morning before breakfast with varieties of activities includes elephant safari (morning or late afternoon) jungle / nature walks-bird watch tour, canoe ride to see crocodile and water birds, jungle drive with enjoyable elephant bathing and briefing, afternoon Jungle drive / Jungle or Nature walks or elephant safari (if not done earlier).

  • Day 12: Drive back to Kathmandu with afternoon free for individual activities.

    Early morning starting with nature / jungle activities or bird watch tour, after having breakfast depart from Chitwan for an interesting overland drive back to Kathmandu following Trisuli River for sometimes, and then uphill to reach Kathmandu valley after 4-5 hours of good drive, ending our marvelous holiday back in the hotel with afternoon free for shopping souvenirs or other activities.

  • Day 13: International departure for home ward bound.
