- Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.
On arrival in Kathmandu international airport received with warm welcome by our Visit Himalaya guides and staff, and then transfer you to respective hotels around hub of Kathmandu. After checking into your rooms, our guide briefs with information of the “Nepal Adventure Sports Experience” with scenic Pokhara including hotel, Kathmandu with welcome dinner in a nice typical Nepali restaurant with culture program.
- Day 02: In Kathmandu with sightseeing.
Morning sightseeing tour around Kathmandu you will be engrossed at places of interest on this day for 4-5 hours of enjoyable and impressive tour visiting world heritage sites of temples-monasteries-Stupas with old royal palace courtyard. Kathmandu, steeped with ancient heritage sites and monuments of both Hindu and Buddhist, morning after breakfast our tours starts with a short drive to Swayambhunath, a popular and famous pilgrimage sites for Buddhist and Hindu as well. An ancient Chaitiya of Asia and a major symbol of Nepal’s Buddhist heritage, Swayambhunath represents Primordial Buddha or Adi-Buddha. After Swayambhunath tour leads to Bouddhanath, an important Buddhist pilgrimage and heritage sites in Nepal. The story and history mentions that this Stupa contains relics of Buddha Kashyapa, with 176 miniature stupas and paintings of Tibetan Buddhist pantheons cover the walls that surround the Stupa at Bouddhanath. Bouddhanath Stupa is an important pilgrimage site for Tibetans which is mentioned in Tibetan classical texts such as Biography of Yeshe Tshogyal (A.D. 8-9) and Padma Ka’thang (A.D.14). After lunch at Bouddhnath in a nice restaurant a short drive to famous Hindu Temple of Pashupatinath, placed by the bank of Bagamati River where all Hindu cremation takes places. A magnificent golden roofed temples with four cardinal silver doors the temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, in ‘Shiva Ratri’ which falls in mid February a great celebration and pilgrimage takes places flooded with worshippers from Nepal and India. In the end of the day a short drive in the hub of Kathmandu visit old Durbar square with ancient Malla and Shah dynasty palace includes visit of Kumari Temple nearby where Living Goddess “Kumari” resides, tour of famous Khastamandap temple where Kathmandu got its name, as Khastamandap meaning temple built from a wood of a single tree. After a wonderful sightseeing tour afternoon free at leisure and preparation for onward journey hiking and adventure around Pokhara.
- Day 03: Drive and Hike to Nagarjun Hill 2,145 m - 04 hrs.
Morning starts with a short drive on the western outskirt of Kathmandu valley to reach at Nagarjun Park entrance gate after 30 minutes of good drive, from here start hiking on steep uphill through cool shade of serene forest of oaks-pines-spruce-firs and rhododendron tall trees walk leads to a climb with fantastic views of Kathmandu valley, after few hours of tough climb reach the top of Nagarjun Hill at 2,145 meters high. This spot has a small Buddhist monastery dedicated to Lord Padmasamava or Guru Rinboche with a observatory tower for better views of surrounding hills and valley and distant snowcapped peaks. After an enjoyable hike descend back to the bottom and drive back to your hotel with free afternoon at leisure.
- Day 04 Drive and Hike to Shivapuri Hill 2,523 m -05 hrs.
Our next walk starts with a short drive to northern outskirt of Kathmandu valley rim to reach at Shivapuri Park Entrance after 30 minutes of good drive, from here start hiking on steep uphill through cool shade of serene forest of oaks-pines-spruce-firs and rhododendron tall trees walk leads to a climb with fantastic views of Kathmandu valley, after few hours of tough climb reach at Buddhist monastery with a Nunnery located in a peaceful environment. From here continue hike to the top of Shivapuri Hill at 2,523 meters high with fantastic views of Central Himalaya includes views of Manaslu-Ganesh-Langtang and Jugal Himal, this spot with a lonely hut for retreats and meditation. After an enjoyable walk and climb descend back to the bottom near Narayanthan and drive back to your hotel with free afternoon at leisure.
- Day 05: Drive and Hike to Phulchowki Hill 2,760 m - 05 hrs.
Our third interesting hike around Kathmandu valley rim leads to Patan / Lalitpur area on the southern east suburb 18 kms of Kathmandu. Our drive ends at Godawari Botanical Gardens from here start hiking for few hours uphill a famous for birds and some wild life with panorama of mountains from the top of Phulchowki views from Annapurna, Manaslu and Ganesh Himal towards North West and with central Himalaya range of mountains of Langtang-Jugal Himal and continues towards North East Mt. Everest and other adjoining high Himalayan peaks. After an enjoyable walk and climb descend back to the bottom at Godavari and drive back to your hotel with free afternoon at leisure.
- Day 06: Drive to scenic Pokhara city - 06 hrs.
Morning drive from Kathmandu leads with fascinating views of rolling green hills, dotted with farm villages and towns to reach Pokhara valley, on reaching Pokhara with overnights in nice hotels by serene Phewa Lake. Afternoon free for walks around the lake side with interesting shops and stores includes world class restaurants with close views of Annapurna mountain range and stunning peak of Machhapuchare Himal “The Fish Tail”.
- Day 07: In Pokhara with tour and optional adventure sports.
Early morning a short drive to Sarankot hill top famous view points for striking sunrise over range of mountains from Dhaulagiri-Annapurna to Mt. Manaslu with aerial views of Pokhara green valley and Lake Phewa, a popular spot for Para-Gliding as well. After catching sunrise views with mountains join Para Gliding here at Sarankot most popular area for this glide, being popular tourist spot at Pokhara, the glide of about 45 minutes to an hour commanding views of world’s highest peaks and then land near the bank of Lake Phewa. Return back to hotel for day sightseeing tour of Pokhara at places of interest, a short walk leads you with boat ride across Lake Phewa in the shade of the Annapurna mountain range, with a visit of Varahi Temple, then hike to Peace Stupa a park with marble stupas accommodating huge statue of Sakyamuni Buddha, a wonderful spot overlooking great views of the Lake Phewa, Pokhara city and the mountains. Return back to hotel for lunch, afternoon tour of Brindabhasini Temple premises and the Seti Gorge, visit Devi’s fall (David) or Pathele chhago, Maheswor Cave and Tibetan Refugee Camp.
- Day 08: In Pokhara with tour and optional adventure sports.
Early morning transfer to Pokhara airport for Ultra Light Aircraft flight an amazing scenic ride on small Ultra light aircraft, taking off from popular picturesque Pokhara city airport, with spectacular scenery of all beautiful pristine lakes in Pokhara, snow capped mountains from Dhaulagiri, Annapurna to Manaslu range of mountains including the majestic peak Machhapuchare “Fish Tail” in close distance and lovely villages. This is truly an ideal and best way to see life from a new perspective angle; the Ultra Light aircraft flights take place from sunrise to 11 a.m. and from 3 p.m. to sunset every day during seasonal months except mid June to August and truly depending upon whether conditions. After Ultra Light Aircraft activities Bungy Jump where you will be lifted high on a crane then with proper instruction jump 120 m drop to reach the water surface of Phewa Lake. After a wonderful and daring experience take a ride to join another thrill of adventure sport on Zip-Flyer. Zip Flyer Nepal: Dream it-Dare it-Do it! It's official, the world's most extreme zip line: 1800 meters long 2000 ft Vertical drop and 120 k.m. per hour speed with 02 mins ride time. If you are looking for true adrenalin rush then Sky Zip is for you. Unlike anything you've seen before the Sky Zip zip line by High Ground adventures is truly an experience not to be missed. Participants must be between 35 and 125 kgs (75 and 275 pounds) and be comfortable with heights. This ride is not recommended for individuals with back or neck problems, or those who are pregnant.
- Day 09: Drive back to Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.
Morning after having breakfast depart from beautiful Pokhara for an interesting overland drive back to Kathmandu following Trisuli River for sometimes, and then uphill to reach Kathmandu valley after 6 hours of good drive, ending our marvelous holiday back in the hotel with afternoon free for shopping souvenirs or other activities.
- Day 10: International departure for homeward or to respective countries.
